Monica Nowak

Monika Nowak was born in Clemont-Ferrand, France and currently lives and works in Paris. Monika Nowak’s work is energetic, independent and proactive. Through her ‘heroines’ she expresses her vision of today’s woman: strong but fragile. During her artistic career she developed a vision of epic universes where the miraculous coexists with the barbaric. The poetic provokes with aesthetics, and the melancholic alternates with the euphoric. Her fragile heroines are paradoxical, contradictory, exaggerated, but also dreamy, soft, wild, poetic and provocative.
