Art is something absolute, something positive, which gives power, just as food gives power!
Born in 1974 in Dinther, Netherlands, Christian has been creatively engaged with pencils, paint, and a camera from a very young age. To express his feelings and imagination, Christian would draw and write. He began painting on canvas with acrylic and oil paint in the year 2000. Much later, in 2014, he showcased his works in galleries and fairs both domestically and internationally. Since 2015, he has professionally focused on creating art in the form of paintings, drawings, photography, photo-art, and a combination of these in mixed media work.
The paintings Christian creates emerge from his emotions and contemporary events that affect him personally. Transforming the subconscious into the conscious, accepting the emotional developments of himself as a person in daily life. For him, creating visual art is like telling a story or poetry.
